I couldn't help but grin when this client came to me with the challenge of redesigning their logo. Some logos thrive using abstraction, others are more effective if they are more literal. With an office overlooking Philadelphia's historic Rittenhouse Square, I felt that Smiles At The Square deserved a logo that doesn't beat around the bush. Besides, what designer can pass up the opportunity in which one of the most common shapes in the visual world is a fundamental part of the brand name? Providing the highest quality cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry using the most advanced technology in a comfortable office, Smiles At The Square required a logo that is simple, bold, and ultimately reverberates it's namesake. Matching the maroon shade of their scrubs finalized the restoration with a befitting veneer.
